We will cover everything you need to know about the basics of wine but didn’t know what to ask. You will learn the 5 S’s of wine tasting, the 4 taste zones of the tongue, the basic grape varieties, and much, much more. A selection of wines from around the world will be tasted. $60 both weeks
Weds, Oct 27 and Nov 3 – Wine and Food: A Culinary Journey of the Americas
Our journey of wine and food pairing now takes us from the European continent to the Americas. Week One we will enjoy the eclectic menu of North America as we taste a wide selection of food and wines from the USA. We will then venture south of the equator to sample the exciting and tasty cuisine of South America. As always Chef Chris Palumbo of The Fairfield Cheese Company will provide a exciting menu. $70 both weeks
Weds, Nov 10 and 17 – Begin Your 100 Steps to the Century Club
For most people becoming a Wine Century Club member means starting a quest. It is the very rare wine drinker who can sit down with the list of wines and be able to check off 100 grapes with ease. But you will be surprised how many you already know and have tasted, and in this class we will introduce you to an even wider variety of new and interesting wines. $60 both weeks
