Wine Dinner with Winemaker Andrew Murray
Thursday, June 18 at 7:00pm

The distinctive offerings of Andrew Murray Vineyards are designed to express the unique terroir or microclimate of the individual Santa Barbara wine country vineyard. Derived from a love of winemaking rather than winemaker ego, these wines are carefully tended from vineyard to bottle to create something truly inimitable. We are pleased to offer you a wonderful evening with one of Santa Barbara’s shinning stars, his beautiful wines and another masterfully paired  menu, be sure to mark your calendars!

Beer Tasting

Thomas Hooker Brewing COmapny

* * New Arrival * *
Safe Harbor IPA
$10.29 . . . 6pbtl

Beautiful pale gold/copper in color - with a slightly bold hopy bitterness that predominates over medium, clean malt levels, making this a no-apologies American beer. This has roughly twice the hops of other beer and a spicy, refreshing bitterness.

Anchor Brotherhood Steam
$12.99 . . . 6pcan

A distinct malt bill gives the beer its copper color, and dry-hopping with Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops adds aromatic hints of citrus and mint. The result is a smooth, full-bodied malt flavor with a lingering, fresh hop finish.

Allagash Victoria Ales ‘15
$16.99 . . . 750ml

The brewer's decided to fuse the worlds of beer and wine. Over two hundred pounds of Chardonnay (Vidal Blanc in 2010) grapes were brought in, crushed on site and added directly to the mash. Victoria Ale's aroma is fruity spice, and the taste presents subtle notes of green banana, black pepper, and fresh-crushed mint. With a focus on the subtle, wine-like character of the grapes, the 9.0% ABV brew boasts a pale copper color, Belgian yeast influence, and a medium body with a long candied fruit finish with hints of honeydew melon, and, of course, white wine grapes.

Spirit of the Week
Harry's New favorite

Principe de los Apotoles Gin
$31.99 . . . 750ml
Although most of the botanicals used to make the Principe De Los Apostoles Mate Gin come from Misiones, Argentina, the gin itself is made in Mendoza. The botanicals include peppermint, eucalyptus, pink grapefruit skin and yerba mate, which is used to make a popular drink in South America and captures the spirit of Argentina rather well indeed. One of the first premium gins from Argentina!
