Historically, Chile has long been recognized as a place with great winemaking potential. Though it's reputation as one of a great value leader, there is more to their wines that has yet to be discovered. Fascinating varieties of wines are just now entering the US from this remarkable area and they are painting an entirely new picture of possibility for Chilean wine.
Join us as we uncork the remarkable wines of this region paired with a delicious dinner by owner/chef Bryan Malcarney of Blue Lemon Restaurant. Event Menu

Cheveau Mâcon Chaintré 2014
This single-vineyard site is in the southernmost village (Chaintré) in the Maconnais. The wine is aged in stainless steel on the fine lees for eight months before undergoing a light filtration at the moment of bottling. The Macon-Chaintré “Le Clos” is consistently marked by notes of citrus fruits (lemon, orange, grapefruit) with a lively acidity, fruit blossom aromas and excellent balance.

$18.99/4pcan - $11.99/750ml
The color is pale blond, the fine and regular effervesce ensures a fine and stable head. Slightly malty aromas, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.
Timmermans Oude Gueuze
$13.29 . . . 750ml
A fabulous mix of lambics feeds this more than traditional version, in a limited production. The sour but never embittered tastes release a perfect balance between youth and maturity of the base products. It reveals also a wood tannin, remembering the consolidating settling in oak casks during several years. Conservation : 20 Years
