The 2019 harvest was classified as “excellent” by the Technical Services of the Control Board of the DOC Rioja. Made of 95% tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo grapes, the wine was aged for 18 months in American- and French-oak casks and kept for a few months in the vat to ensure good blending of the wine before bottling. The aroma of intense red fruits is complemented by undertones of cedar and blackberry, then finished with juicy tannins. Serve with chili, vegetable curry, roasted meats, and casseroles.
